JK, same as really, with the 16"s it slows the car down a bit but it gets the power on the road better.

End of the day the saxo will beat one around the bends, should beat a standard 2.0 upto 90 odd. After that it will be close but obviously the corsa should win top end with the bigger engine in it. In a straight line I reckon it would be close all round

Not really a fair race the vts v ctr. standard for standard the ctr would thrash it, what mods have been done on the vts? Don't believe it's standard

i reckon it would be close looking at the figures for a vts i wouldn't mind racing 1 on the straights but i know i have no chance on the bends from my bro leaving me on the bends

according to this site http://www.syclone.freeserve.co.uk/rivals.htm

a saxo vts does:
120 bhp
0-60 7.7
1/4 mile in 16.1

a astra gsi does:
150bhp
0-60 7.2
1/4 mile in 15.9

but then the astra is a heavier bigger car
