kerry, dunno if you know is but to get broadband in the first place your telephone exchange needs to be upgraded, best way to check is bt.com/braodband follow links or whatever to 'can i get broadband' and you can input your number to check.

currently there is 127 out of 150 people needed to convert my exchange for ADSL!

Our initial test on your line suggests that you should be able to have a broadband ADSL service that provides up to 2Mbps download speed.

is this gd?
