If I was to sell my car...

Do you think I would be better off leaving the Combat front bumper (Which is pretty scratched up) or putting the original front bumper back on.

Was thinking about putting the original 14" alloys on too, this would make it look more standard and I thought might give me a better chance of selling it. Just seems like most people have had trouble selling modified cars.

If? Correct me if I'm wrong but is your car not in Classified & Wanted as 'for sale'?

Personnally, i'd like a car with an engine, more important than the front bumper.

Or are you planning to sell the car with the engine? Thought someone was buying it???

I am getting a new car very soon. It is not cheap so the extra money from selling my car would come in handy. Esp. when I decide to start tuning the engine of the new car.

I am not definately selling my car, I've put a post up to see if anyone would pay £5500 for my car as I would not let it go for any less. I've put a post up to see if anyone would buy my engine and have found someone that wants it.

IF, I don't sell my car for £5500, I WILL be selling my engine for £1000, returning my car back to standard and fitting a standard 2.0 16v and leaving it at that.

To be honest though, after taking the car for a test drive last Friday and putting a deposit down, I would prefer to sell my car as the extra money would come in handy!

Not letting it go for less than £5500 so am just keeping my options open.

Clear it up Daimo? Sometimes I really do wish you could just but out.

Patrick, i was speaking because someone mentioned to me that they/a friend was buying your engine, and seeing as i get on with the person i was speaking to far more than i do u, i was speaking what i thought. There was nowt wrong with my comments, and if someone was selling me their engine, then saying they were selling the car, i'd expect someone to stand up and say its pretty out of order too.

Daimo and Patrick - I suggest you two purchase some swords, and have a duel.

Daimo, I had not agreed a sale with him. I told him that I might be selling the car but if I do not, then the engine is his. I told him that the engine for sale thread was closed and that if I sell it, it is his.

He agreed, so whats wrong with that?

I haven't been out of order at all!
