Right guys, if you had 1200 quid to get a half decent install, what would you buy and why. I fully intend using these results to guide me on my own purchase and it must include a good head unit.

Hmmn...

Alpine CDA-7894RB
Focal 165k Polykevlar 16.5cm components
Genesis Stereo 100 for the components
RE XXX 12" sub
RE 35-1D amp for sub

Probably over £1200 though

Any chance thats ure plans Trotty!

I reckon go for top quality stuff such as JL and PG, so that you can add to it rather than replace it at a later date. IMO

Have you got those Bose jobbies as standard yeah? Should be pretty reasonable.

Subs then is it - how many? And what size?

What have you got £1200 to spend on? Just amps and subs and cables? Youve already got a headunit?
