The rules have always been there, but given the sheer volume of content to moderate, it's often picked up on elsewhere before we get to see it. That's why the site has occasionally had to close, thats why I get a fair number of emails complaining about things and thats why I thought it best to concentrate those threads that would cause the most concern in one place.

I'm not looking to go overboard with strictness but at the same time there's still a job to do. Taste, ethics, legalities, prosecution, purpose; it's a complicated picture.
