next year should i
put a 2litre in straight to 150bhp
or get a corsa sport and tune it a bit
gradually getting used to the power

bearing in mind my current corsa has 60bhp

im afraid that a 90 odd bhp increase may be too much in one go,

all i say is i can drive like a nutter or too fast in a 1.0 12v.. all that a 2.0 gona do is make the pull off faster.....

i spoke to an engine mechanic the other day... says its easier etc to do a 1.6 conversion but if ur paying alot u mite as well go 2.0 if u can get insured

If you want a 1.6 then don't bother doing a Patrick and putting one in your Corsa, just sell yours and buy a Sport or GSi. Later model Sport R/S reg onwards I think come with electric everything and a/c.

GSi just has the body kit, electrics were optional.

Or you could blow a lot of money on a 2.0, but don't forget you will need to change the suspension and brakes before you do that.

I would personally sell it and get a Sport or GSi.

I was thinking of putting a 2.0 16v in my Astra (albeit an Ecotec with autobox) and I just can't be arsed spending loads of cash upgrading everything. Rather just buy something that's fast out-of-the-box as it were.

like someone said if ur gonna go 1.6 route.
sell ur current car and get a gsi.

thats wot i did.

in the middle i had a audi a3 1.8 turbo but it was soooooooooooooo boreing.

going down to a 1.6 hasent depressed me one bit.

altho i got 17's on the 1.6 handling aint too bad.

altho 2lt hmmmmmm

everything that goes wrong with it is probly gonna need a custom part made
