Pug 306 for that kind of money I think, or indeed a (boring) Golf but only if it's modded. 206 CC is a real hairdressors car, poor performance etc 306 is far from decent but they look better and are more practicle. 7k won't buy a great one though tbh Tell her to get a Caterham or something

Id like a VW but their over priced for their age/equipment levels, plus in standard drag they are as exciting as a small poo.

Mod em they look nice but got that silly roll bar thing in the way Get a 306!!!

Yes she was looking at getting this boring R-reg Mk3 golf, with steel wheels.

It had 1 lady owner, 39,000 miles and was £6950

I can think of a shit load other cars you can get that are a million times better than that.

for 7k...

M reg mk3 golf convertible, and drop a VR6 or 1.8T lump in it, some B2's, few facelift mods (mk4 convertibles have virtually the same rear, with mk3 rear clusters - weird), slam it, should have a fiver left for a beer and some crisps

Yes, Mk3 Golfs look good modified, but this girl is selling her Zetec-S to get something a little more toned down because she thinks the Fiesta is a 'Boyracers' car
