read in paper today - raul has contract on number 7 shirt just like becks has - dunno why he would give it up myself, he has sponsers in the shirt etc - like becks

yes beckham has it in his contract at man u, but can't see him turning down this move cause of a number, fans wud'nt except raul being anything else but 7

drew i see what ya sayin but contracts at real are negotiable on offer,same with clubs like milan and juve! raul had number 14 on his contract when he joined madrid from youth squad, the reason he switched to 7 was coz he scored in his first 7 games for them

raul will keep number 7. figo wanted it when he got there but he refused. he will probably play with number 16 or 61 or some shit like that with a wee plus sign in it like zamorano did for inter years ago

i expect beckahm to play figo's position and figo to then go over to the left hand side or else leave the club...he wont be happy someone is coming in to take his place. i cant see him playing in centre midfield coz he doesnt suit real's system there and it is highly unlikely that they will change their system just for him
