a few things did annoy me tho... small things like slipping clutch and wheel bearings..... spoke to Will about this etc etc...

ach.... shit happens

cars still quicker than most even tho its a 20 a day smoker

I'm not saying anything about a merc SLK and 135mph

2lt 16v Supplyed and fitted - 1600
V6 Brakes (NEW Off Mig) - 200
Billet 2.0 suspension - £450
Total 2250
which leaves u 2045.50

i know what i would go for..........

also m8ty 4292 is prob more then your car is worth, and i know if i had spend 4k on getting a 2lt i wouldent be happy, as its far to much, they are not that fast, and defo not worth 4k+ for one...........

sell yours for 4k'ish put the 4k your was going to spend on the engine and buy somthing else, you could get a 350bhp cossie and ins it for 8k.

that is such a w4nk comment. have u even seen my work

what i meant is that it would not be of the cossvaux conversion quality because you will not be replacing all the stuff that they are. i expect your conversions are of good quality and i didnt mean to slag you off or owt

We know who Lee Mitchell is and have seen his work and is as far as i can see very good. when a customer wants a conversion we taylor it to what they ask for , but if they want 3.5k worth of parts it makes the conversion look expensive. our engines we supply for £700 have covered no more than 60k we can supply higher millage engines for less money but when a customer asks for low miles what can we do. as for puting new oil pumps and water pumps on the engine this is because while we have the engine in bits putting arp rod bolts sump gaskets and cam belt and rollers we may as well put the other parts in while we are there. Sorry we tried to save money on labour for customers . if we new people felt so strongly about this we would not of offered it

here here mate, i dont think it is expensive really. went upto your place and went throught it all with will and realise why it will be a good job with good parts. people e.g. beardy, are sayin 2-2.5k but did they include a painted rocker, dress kit, new black diamond clutch, rod bolts, and tbh it would be a low milage engine which aint been trashed to fuck, dont peaople know a good price when they see it. also to all the people goin on about sorcin parts and getting everything myself, well 1 of the reasons is cos im too busy workin to do stuff like that and i can drive my car to cossvaux and have it all done in around a day then drive back out

btw rich, saw ya have some good runs on sunday, not bad for a 130k engine

Bottom line is u pay for a Name like with anything, there is really only one way to fit a 2lt, no matter who fits it.

example (fit 2lt 16v)
crossvaux - 2.5k
Courtny - 3.9k
regal - 3k
random person - 1600

all same job all getting same thing but u pay for name

Kinell just read all this!!

If you want to do it mate go for it as your car does look nice and a 2L would only make it better!

If it was me then i would sell the corsa and use the cash plus the 4K and get a newer faster car but then that's not very individual is it??

It sounds a good deal to me but maybe you should get a LET??

Cossvaux have you done a conversion on a MK4 Astra yet??? New engine or otherwise??
