Means how much you upload and how much you download, if you upload more than download you get a higher level.

thought it was how popular your stuff is on your comp?? i.e if u have the latest film like 2 fast 2 furious and loads of people are wanting it off u. it gets higher!!

it means, the more you let people download things from ure machine, the faster connection you will get for downloading things.

Basically its a way of ensuring u share files rather than just download all the time.

There is a program however that ups your participation level to 1000 which is maximum, called JET or soemthing like that.

Search using google for it, when using that along with broadband or LAN etc, fk me its quick!

oh, and you dont have to share any files! you can just turn it off so you not sharing!!

It doesn't mean you get a faster connection speed, you just get a higher priority in any queues.

Yes, you will get a higher priority in ques that is all, small speed increases can be seen but only really on high speed connections like broadband.

Go to http://www.k-lite.tk and download the full Kazaa Lite program from there, fixes your participation level at maximum, plus has some other cool features like speedup etc.

Just get the newest version of Kazaa Lite and it has no pop ups and has 1000 participation level all the time so you get more priority on downloads as it looks like you have been sharing loadsa file!
