How much do you earn and how much do you want to borrow? Have you considered asking your bank?

yes probably the best thing to do id book a meeting with a financial planning manager. They can do u a financial summary or sumfin which will look at what u can afford based on incomings and outgoings etc.

Who do u bank with. Cuz i no my bank ppl hav pre approved limits which means u can just ring up and they giv it to u over the fone.

just ring em up and ask is best thing, it will also depend on ur credit rating not just ur salary and how gd a customer u r. i.e paying things back etc and how many credit cards u have, how old u r, if u own property.

Is it an across-the-board limit or based on the individual?

Like kinky says just phone up your bank or even walk into your branch one day and ask to speak to someone about getting a loan and they'll sort you out mate.

no different for different ppl. Every1 has a profile on our system and u have a customer rating. If you have lots of credit cards and loans ur rating is higher cuz you are creating more business for the bank, it also depends on your incomings (salary etc) for example i have a pre approved over draft of £1k and Credit Card of £500 and loan £3k when i earn bout £4k a year atm. And i can ring up and have that instantly.
