I cant get over the fact that he resprayed your car, but didnt take the arches off first!!??

I no for a fact when brother's car, and his mates where done, they removed all of the arches, bumpers the lot, and sprayed those off the car!!

Maybe this is the way bodyshops do things now, but to me that seems VERY odd.

it depends how much your willing to pay. you can get a car repainted just over the bits you can see, or u can get the whole lot stripped and painted

i under stand this, but surely even a half respray (bits u c) would involve under arches etc. Maybe i'm too fussy....but it seems like a cow boy job if they are just to spray bits u can see etc. i mean, they did spray all inside the door shuts etc?

Same thing happened to me mate after i went to get my tyres changed a while ago. I got my money back and they payed for all damages to the car. I could have sued them aswell for negligence but decided not too. The only difference is I had paid so I'm still waiting for my money back, it should be allright for you mate. You could say that you feel traumatised by the whole incident tho mate and that you find it difficult to drive and all that and you could get a few bob outa them mate.
