Heater controls - I want more bulbs in there soldered on the copper stalks to actually get some light out of the buggers.... i am a crap electrician(!) but i can solder if told where to put everything lol

And resistors needed if i put several bulbs on?

Also, what kind of bulbs go in the mfd and behind the dash

I am going to maplins and going to look blank and dumb unless someone here can supply me with a comprehensive shopping list!!!!!!!!

I just went to maplins, said give me blue LEDs (12V) and then i went home and bodged them on, il be buggered they work!
So i soldered about 5 on the stalks and drilled holes in the white plastic holder to stick the extra ones through and it looks swell. I also changed the dash blubs to blue, have to fix some up for the mfd now.

But if anyone is any good at electrics, can i get bulbs with higher wattage so they will be brighter?? As the wee LEDs and even the blue bulbs in dash are disapointingly dim.

What watts are advised/available?

The bulbs arent measured in watts, the common term is mcd.

If you contact corsasport member CORSA NUT, he supplies leds fitted in osram holders with resistors that will fit your mfd, that are i think are around 5000mcd, which are very bright.
