good stort about fast standar looking cars is when a bloke from work took his mk 2 escort down to southend on saturday and while waiting at sum traffic lights on the way ther sum kitted up 1.1 saxo pulled up beside him, wound the window down and started shouting alrite grandad, and just genrally taking the piss out of his car.

unfortunatly for them the car looks pretty standard but has a 5.7 litre chevy engine with NOS. so he did them from the light and waited till he got abount a mile ahead of them then put he's hazard on a waited for them, when the caught up there only reply was, "it shifts a bit don't it "

Definatly the second option. I just put my car into the garage this morning for all it's body work. When she comes out it will be stright down to styledynamix to have the coilovers fitted and an 70mm drop on 15's.

Stoney, is yours down 60mm at the mo?

How low are you going? same front and back?

I'm down 60mm ob 15s and front couldnt really go any lower but rear could drop a bit more.

If the majority of people like small wheels and tunned engines, then why ahve most got big wheels and 1.2-1.4 engines with zorst n induction kit ??

Insurance Daimo stops most people having a tuned engine at 17 or 18 years of age. Unless you are a pikey and don't bother with insurance.

Well a 1.2 litre on 17's could go fast enough to get you banned. So thats fast enough if you look at it that way.

er, wrong... a 1.2 on 17's can easily do a speed at which could get you banned in a specific area of road.
