As some of you might know, i recently crashed my car, in the accident i bent the front left wheel (16" Sri wheel) andf kerbed the rear one quite badly. Anyway the front wheel is dangersous to drive on, so the Vauxhall dealership ordered me a new wheel. This was 1 week and 3 days ago, i was told at the time that the wheel is on back-order from Vauxhall, so delivery time is unknown.

Anyway i went to my Vauxhall garage today and they stil don't even have an approx date, i've rang around other local dealerships, but none of them stock the wheel.

The problem is that the supplies for Vauxhall are completely out of these wheels, so i have to find a dealerhship that has them in stock.

At the moment i'm driving round on a 15" Steel wheel, and 3 16" Wheels, i also have no spare at the mo as its being used.

HOW SHIT ARE VAUXHALL

tell vaux to take a perfect one off a show car and sell it to you a bit cheaper of try and phone some scpappies they might have a couple

Yeh, i need one soon.

I think it is totally unnacceptable not being able to supply me for a wheel which is on a car that they produce.

I'm getting really pissed off now i'm gonna try phoning a manager of Vauxhall tomorrow to give them a peice of my mind

Also, does anyone have a list of scrappies that might have a new shape Corsa Sri (2002 onwards because older Sri's were fitted with 15" wheels)

Long shot i know, but worth a try

and they quoted me over 90 odd quid for a rear light id have to wait 2 weeks for
i went to scrappy down the road and got one for £15

I sell these rims, as i get them cheap from Vauxhall, i'm selling more than one set, i'm selling as many as i can,

but at the mo Vauxhalls suplies of these are zero, so i wont be able to get any yet, hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

I really need just 1 alloy for my car tho

How annoying !

Didn't realise you had your car back though Red, how is it? Does it still feel the same as before, i.e. new ??

Is it all fixed perfectly, just apart from the wheels ?

Yeh its fixed ok now, feels fine. My Dad paid for the repair so we didn't have to go through insurance in the long run

It is the fault of VAUXHALL for not stocking standard Corsa parts. If i had totally fucked more than 1 wheel my car would be off the road for the amount of time it takes them to get the wheels, which should never happen, all parts should be available easily

I know its annoying, but think of the poor people who work in dealerships (me ) and get shit because there is a waiting list for parts. There's nothing u can do about it other than wait.
