Im thinking about getting a peronalised plate 4 my 18th. My name is James and my initials are JTT, i was thinking about getting T18 JTT as my car is a T reg and i will be 18. Its only £250 smacks. Wot do u guys think? any other suggestions that are fairly cheap?

Not a bad investment, you're never going to lose money on them. Always thought they were a bit pretentious on cars though. Theres a MK4 Golf nr me and the plate is T1JFF, reads TUFF. What sort of prat drives round with that on? Probably thinks he's cool, whereas the reality is people just point and laugh!

If you get the reg starting with T you will only be able to put this plate on a car T reg and newer in the future...this might create problems. other than that go for it...I have M4RK M s my number plate!

Does the T ave ne significance? if not get an older plate cos as sed above u cant go older...

Not a bad investment???? I bought Y1 CORSA for £499 and have been trying to sell it for month's on here for £300 including all fee's paid to transfer.
But I now have J Ilesy - J 11ESY which was alot cheaper and worth every penny as it's my first initial and last name

yes you cant put a private reg starting with T on say a S reg car this this will be making the car look newer than it actually is...where as you can put a plate starting with M on a W reg car.

u can go older, as i have, mines an n and now prefex is a j, but u can't make a car apper younger
