Not had a corsa in a while.
But bought a 1.8 reg as 1.2 and needed new ecu so fixed that and was bored.
So swapped for the 2.5 v6 which has slipped a tooth on the timing

Supposedly the conversion was done by power crazy. Whixh it does have a few reciepts

Anyway the 1.8 I swapped paid £200 for it
And the v6

Plans are get the engine rebuilt. And just for weekend fun.
Spec is:
Sxii shell
Tsw alloys
2.5 brakes
2.5 v6 engine msd 192 bhp?
Gsi recaros in front
Leather in the rear
Hid kit
Angel eye headlights

If you know about these engines and how to get more power please let me no.

those wheels are proper old school

As for engine I think you can get a throttle body kit if you have deep pockets

I thought the wheels looked pretty good on the Corsa!

Is it a genuine MSD tweaked engine, or just a standard lump and someone has stuck the sticker on it?

I think the standard engines were about 170bhp.

Throttle bodies...

Its x30xe z32se. Theyre are basically the same. You would nees to swap all ancillaries from the old to new engine but straight forward

you using this for fast road/track/drag racing?

never been a fan of the vx v6, always felt you have to put a lot into it to outweigh the cons

ie- heavier than an xe, makes the car understeer etc

Engines back in and it runs 😁😁.

Small fire as well. Apart from that very productive day. Going to try find someone who knows what there doing with the fuel system as i think ive put pipes wrong or something as soon as i turn ignition it starts to flood itself. Anyone know of any garages in Manchester area that do conversion stuff

So car went off to beardys and he finished it off for me and got it running great.
I finished off the few jobs I needed to do.
And now the head gaskets gone.....
So bought a new engine thats just had headgasket. Timing belt. Water pump and a service with proof. So will be fitting that in couple of weeks then this will be put away in garage for few months. or swapped for a Corsa b so I can build a Saab power Corsa.

Pic on recovery truck going to beardys
First drive since getting it

Little blast

very different engines actually mate, the z32se found in the vectra c's and such was a lower emissions version. the x30xe's are becoming very hard to find now though.
its the same with 2.5 and 2.6, 2.6 being a lower emissions version with a lower compression ratio

and yes, ecu/inlet/wiring/afm sets are pretty much interchange-able on most the v6's

i run chipped c25xe inlet ecu loom set up on a x30xe with head work and know these engines pretty well.

Pretty much the same in that he couldve took the 2.5 out. Swapped bits over and put a 3.2 in its place with a bit a more power for about the same as it would cost to do heads, belts etc yep

probably. but i wasnt the original person who converted the car. the v6 is a decent sounding engine.

im looking into doing a saab conversion on a corsa b and just keep this as it is with the v6 engine, goes rather well but it does have 192 bhp.
