I've got an Astra j 2.0cdti. If I put an induction kit on it would it give off a sound without damaging the turbo? Read all sorts of things about compressor stall n all that , don't know what to believe. Just want a bit of noise when I lift off.

Because I'm a young guy and miss having something with a bit of noise. The inner chav is coming out in me I guess

It'll be fine, you'll hear it more with an induction kit, just because it has an airbox and you cant hear it, doesn't mean it's not happening.

Its a 4 pot diesel its always going to sound like an John Deere tractor!
