Are you retarded asking for money to bring a dog back ?

Don't get me wrong, I saved a dog a few years back, was about 4 weeks old having stones thrown at it by the kids on a pikey campsite in Romford, I strolled in, picked it up and walked (ran) off. Poor thing was on deaths door, unbelievably ill and malnourished, covered in fleas and ticks and not in a good way at all. She's about 3 now, awesome little dog.

Try looking a little closer to home if you want to do something helpful.

is gofundme the one that lets you take the money at any time even if goal not reached?

Plus is dog with white coat the same one, as in first pictures on the gofundme page?

later dog has a long tail and different ears that stick up. Plus only pics provided in the original gofundme pics are crops of the same image.

I am asking as a member of the general public? oh and CS as u posted here.

If you can't spend £500 to bring the dog over yourself, then you shouldn't be able to have a pet at all.

Pet insurance will cost a fortune and you'll need more than £500 for any operations it may need.

My family's dog has a dodgy hip and the op to sort it is coming in at £8000...

Would rather donate to any number of refugee children than a single dog in another country tbh

This. We have been looking for a dog and facebook (yes this is probably the issue) is full of pages with dogs to rehome but when you ask about them you basically find out they are in Romania and you have to pay for them to get to the uk etc.

Sorry no. We have enough dogs in the uk to cope with and if I did pay said money to get the dog to the uk. We dont know it at all in person it maybe a angry little cunt or just have many many issues.

IMO its like going on on-line dating - "oh ill marry her" ordering her and finding out she's a utter bitch.

Sort the dogs in the UK first not the ones overseas sorry to say.

Rant over

If she won't stump up the £500 to get it here she shouldn't have stumped up £200 of other people's money to get it back to health without working out whether or not it actually had a prospect of a decent future. This is the problem nowadays, people wanting to care for an animal to salve their conscience without thinking through what's really best for the animal. It's a stray, nobody wanted it, it couldn't look out for itself, why get it back to health only for it to be left to go back into the same situation and prolong the suffering. It'd be more caring to put it out of its misery. You wouldn't have needed hundreds of pounds of other people's money for that too.
