Basically

Ken Block and Matt le Blanc drifted and doughnutted around whitehall ala gymkhana.

At one point they were near the cenotaph. All the papers and news are over it saying how insulting it is to war veterans.

Quentin Wilson said it was over the line and him and Clarkson would never have gone that far, Chris Evans made an apology.

I think its total bullshit and people need to get over it, it's hard to go anywhere recognisable in London without going past at least one war memorial or whatever

Nothing is done about all the arabs etc they do it every year.

I find the location a bit irrelevant. I've probably sped by a graveyard at some point.

I liked it. Not really bothered.

They were doing all that gymkhana stuff in my work today, filming for the new series.

My mate could hear the Mustang going mental when he went outside. Pretty cool story.

I know they were filming over the other side of the estate, unfortunately. Last time they came in our building and Richard Harmmond walked right past me He is very small in real life.

He lost his knees in a motorbike accident when younger. Has funny metal knee joints now. Which is why you never see him doing star jumps.

Someone managed to get some pics of him doing donuts around one of the roundabouts in here. Usually it's full of potholes there. They resurfaced it the other week just for this

nah mate, this thing was bouncing off the limiter and sounded like a V8 with straight pipes. Definitely not a hatchback.

Could almost guarantee BBC would have filmed such that Cenotaph wasn't in shot, or at least edited that out. Photos in the papers are misleading.

All blown completely out of proportion. Reports are they were at least 40m away from the cunt anyway. Hardly donuts around the fucking thing.

Dunno, photos I've seen this morning show tyre marks around a memorial. I'm certainly not one of the pc brigade getting outraged at stuff that's nothing to do with me but it does seem a bit of a dickish thing to do.

Media seem to have it in for the new Top Gear for some reason.

A lot of fuss over nothing IMO. Far worse likely to have happened around it in the last 60 years.
