So after placing the order in December, my new car finally got delivered this morning. It's a Skoda Octavia vRS TDI manual, in Rallye Green. Chose a couple of options for it - sunset glass, heated front seats and SmartLink. I'm over the moon with it!

Nice Tom. Love it. I'm into estates at the moment after driving my dad's one's about. So practical.

It's a nice green though imo. Not as in your face as ultimate green e.g Focus RS

It is a lot of green, but as said I find it quite tasteful too - not massively over the top like Ultimate Green or Dakar Yellow.

Correct, the right trim is exactly that - a trim. Exhaust is simply a twin that exits on the left, doesn't even extend to physically pass through the trim on the bumper on that side either though!

Can't say I've ever seen an older prefix plate where the 3 digits starts with a zero

Nice one Tom. I've had my octavia VRS FL since November and absolutely love it. The mk3 is really growing on me! Rallye Green is nice - not many will choose it so should be quite rare! Nice set of options you have picked too.

Might see you on Briskoda then!

Nearly bought one of these twice. I'm sure I'll end up with one soon enough.

Quite like the colour although I wouldn't have picked it myself. Driven one a couple of times, so refined for a non premium car. Also it's a tardis. The outside is small, the inside is fucking enormous.

Great cars

That looks superb.

Estates are brilliant. Ive used mine on a few occasions now where normally i would have needed to borrow a van.

Choices in the vRS are 2.0 TDI with 184 bhp or 2.0 TSI with 220 bhp (or the special edition with 230).

Mine's the diesel.
