Exactly. Why did you do that?
Just undo the nut on the steering Colum inside and the two track rod ends and it comes down with the subframe

To save fucking the rod ends when I beat them out

Done it both ways doesn't really make much diffrence just talking it out with subframe you don't have to mess about with clearence on the arb

Learn how to remove a TRE then haha. You don't hit the TRE itself. You hit the hub where the TRE sits into and it shocks them out.

Finally finished and driving..

Its now had:

New turbo, clutch, dmf, water pump, cambelt, fuel filter, oil filter, oil, air filter and of course the replacement engine..

Owes me about 4k so far.. so not too shabby..

Posts are a little large, would've choosen a 165mm x 165mm if it were me. Have they twisted off the brickwork?

It was all cut from one single piece of oak using a Alaskan mill.
