The quality of them are really good, when my brother went and looked at them, the sales man open a draw and stood in it to show how strong they are. Not that you need to stand in them but shows the quality of them

They're all pretty similar so long as you don't go for the very cheapest B&Q kitchen for example. Our kitchen is Wren and very well put together.

I'll be getting my own installer as I can get it fitted for half the price. This is where wren start with the excuses if something is wrong I've noticed.

I went with Benchmarx all they had to do was drop it off as my mate was installing it. Every time (twice) he noticed bits missing they had it with me next day. So whilst they maybe shouldn't have had bits missing, there was no hassle about getting them to me

Mines wren. No issues at all. Installed myself, they beat howdens price by about £200 and gave us Bosch oven instead of howdens own make stuff.

Well I have my first appointment tomorrow with the designer from wren. Gonna be cheeky and see if I can knock the price right down.

Started at £15,230 ended up paying £7520 so basically half price. Well pleased with that including all the appliances some of which were the more expensive ones.

They'd be mugs to pay full price lol.

Ok. I'm at logger heads with the wife here over what kind of back splash we should go for.

We've went for full white gloss handleless units and a real wood light oak worktop. I like the light grey tiles, the wife like a more cream coloured tile. There is a real wood floor going down a well to match the work top.

What's your thoughts?

Grey

Cream

I prefer the grey but only because it goes with the flooring

Grey as it adds some colour to go along with the flooring and worktop; cream titles would just make the kitchen too bland.

Just to add. The work top and flooring look like the ones in the bottom pic.

Get an oak upstanding to match the worktop and a coloured glass splash back for the hob. No tiles!

Hold down your finger on a image to save it to the camera roll. No need to take screenshots.

Oh, and imo it looks miles better with no back splash at all.

There's a demo kitchen with that exact combo but I thought it was wood overload.
