The Last few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster ride, there were some medical complications along the way but on Friday me and Gemma received the best Christmas present we could ever ask for:

Benjamin Wesley borne 6lb 2.5oz

Words can even describe how amazing it feels to be a dad!

Currently having beef with my little lads old nursery for an issue similar to that, they thought it was acceptable to change his nappy at 11am then let me collect him at 20 to 6 saturated in his own shit, and want me to pay a handsome sum of money for this level of care. As taylorboosh would say ..... LOL

All joking aside, congrats to you both, it's the best feeling ever, hugely emotional too.

Don't agree they're boring, mine is 3 months old and you melt a little bit inside when they smile at you. Plays in the bath, laughs at the faces you pull, everyone is different though I suppose

Congrats Dave

Not gonna post a pic of someone else's baby online cos that's weird. But picture a 3 month old just lay there doing nothing all day apart from shitting crying n being fed a bottle. Yes it may be the best thing in the world but he/she never does anything.

Vs a 2 year old

Noshua, each to their own, but I personally think that's bollocks. The smiles, giggles, screeches and rolling about is great fun before 6 months old.

This.

My daughter is 18 months old and I find it more and more rewarding the older she gets. I suppose as she is actually a little person now!

Massive congratulations, everybody will tell you how quickly grow up and they are all completely right. Enjoy it!

My girl is almost 5 n lad is 2. Both at perfect ages
Agree with how quick they grow up. I know this is gonna sound really obvious (stupid?) but it's mad when they can only say a few words, then all of a sudden you can have proper conversations with them

Congratulations. Great time of year for him to come along.

My advice is to savour everything. Everyone says it but you will soon realise that they DO grow up so fast. My lad is 7 years old in Feb. Don't wish any time away!!

Makes you realise how short life actually is.
