Smaller engine corrados get less mpg than the VR6, they have to try harder to go as fast.

Comes to something when we are picking apart mpg figures for the performance models.

If you are that bothered about MPG buy the 1.2

Better build quality

Can you explain why your market leading Fiesta ST has 30bhp less from the same sized engine than the inferior Corsa VXR?

I think you'll find you're mis-informed, young man.

The Fiesta ST has 200ps. After 15 seconds of full throttle without lifting off, it reduces to 180ps. Obviously you're never going to be full throttle for 15 or more seconds without changing gear, unless you're on an Autobahn I guess, so it's sold in Europe (eu law) as ST180.

Have a look at the exact same US version and it's sold as ST200.

Your Corsa VXR has 10? PS more, yet is 200 kg's heavier.

I'd also disagree about the build quality.

202bhp for a 1.6 that's disappointing imo Not a fan of the Corsa E's as it is but if you like it then fair play.

No doubt. The current gen fiesta bodystyle is from 2008. It's due a new model. They've aged well and the figures don't lie. Best selling car in the UK.

This corsa vxr is supposedly the new model, yet it looks like the old one. Strange.

Wtf? To put it into perspective, a 2.0 turbo back in the day had 200bhp. 400 less cc, producing more power, more reliably and more economically is disappointing to you?

What would you expect to have as reliable power from a 1600 Turbo? What does your Fabia have?
