on there day most top players are unbeliveable. theres not much between top players nowerdays. people in england only see Zidanes good games they see beckham week in and week out play and see his mistakes as well.

English players are not overrated, they dont go abroad as their footballing style doesnt suit the way they play abroad. Beckham is one of the most valuable players in the world. Figo and co are all overrated as they lack passion and commitment. If Real were 1-0 down with a minute to go they'd have given up, i.e. Tonights game agaisnt Juve. Ronaldo, Carlos, Raul, and Figo couldnt be fcuked after 89mins even though they only need one goal. They may well have been tired but they r pro's and should strive to help their team succeed.
Best in Britain - Ruud Van Nistelrooy
Best in World - Ronaldo even though he has a tendancy to slack at times. Cant fault his finishing though.
Oh yeah and Zidane...................Overrated and past it. He did NOTHING in last years world cup and this season for Real he has hardly been inspiring. He just lives off his name and reputation as does half of the Real team.
Sorry about that rant but i had to say it

You said it mate, 'when' he plays. He isnt consistent enough. You only see the skills and good goals. You watch him closely he fcuks up quite a bit i think you'll find. Theres no doubt he's good but no where near as good as he is made out to be.
The truely great players of today are - Henry, Rivaldo, Totti, Shevchenko, Ruud, Ronaldo, Pires, Del Piero, Raul, Maldini, Carlos, Beckham, Thuram, Canizares, and probably more but i cant think.

An excellent point I think. Zidane and Beckham are both excellent players but they're different
General Skill - Zidane is better I think. More tricks. Can go past a player easier
Pace - Both hardly the fastest
Shooting ability - Possibly Beckham shades this
Volleying - Zidane
Heading - Both equal really
Short passing - Zidane
Long Passing - Beckham
Crossing - Beckham
Dead Ball situations - Need I say. Beckham is the best in the world I think
Anyone sad enough to get the stats off CM4. 
Best player in the world I think is Raul. Although Ruud and Henry are class players I feel in the Real side both of these too would be as good as Raul.
Btw I support Man U so my opinions are likely to be biased.

Name one other player in the world who can take free kicks as good as Beckham
I'm fed up of England haters!!! What is it with the press and some fans in this country?? People hype England up and say they r gonna win everything and when they dont they get slated for it. England are by no means the best team in the world and we proabably wont win a tournament anytime soon but that doesnt mean i think all our players are shit!
