Ground the bodge out of the rear arches today, no rust at all - not even sure why they were bodged, will give a quick skim up and then prime them...

No pics as batt died

Did a bit of priming for protection...
Rear arch

Front wing - headlight has spark burns so meh


Rear end


And the door - needs more work on the curve (where old mirror was meh paintshop can do that as theres parking dings too

As you can see, curves too soft


Handle area



Will fit handle, rear lights and rear bumper tomorrow, then turn around and start the other side at the weekend if my dad will come help push it

Fitted handle - this is the one thats a tad (2mm) on the piss, double you will notice when its body colour

if you are going yellow go vauxhall hazard yellow that they have on the VXR8

its what i had on my old corsa and has a good punch to it

dakar yellow i find looks too faded and a bit dull

meh, each to their own, just thought if you are doing a resto-mod then a colour with a bit of pop would have been better
