You can use a type 9 box and get a bell housing to fit.

If i was going to use another id get an r28...

Will be a case of seeing what turns up and when tbh

Got a lead on a manta big wing sump, if i get that then it will be engine choice time

Can imagine a let being quite involved as the turbo will foul brake servo

An xe would be far simpler and tbf ive owned plenty of turbos, and an xe on carbs, maybe its time for some itbs as the getrag would take 200 bhp no probs

You won't do fuck all, you will just imagine up all these crazy plans and post pictures of other ones you find online.

Don't know why people join in with you as if you are going to do these things, another massively long project thread and all you have done is take a few pieces of trim off the car and imagined things.

Wouldn't bother paying the premium for a genuine big wing sump. Can get ones made new that are a bit more boxy but do the job well. My brother had a batch made up. Think he still may have a few kits and you get them Welded yourself. He paid £45 to get mig or £85 tig I believe.

Thanks for asking, I'm just a bit confused as to why everyone joins in with Johns fantasy car modifying dreams. 15 pages so far, can we have a summary of what's happened thus far?

nope, i'm sniggering at all the people with tosh cars joining in with this like they did for the past 4 or 5 project cars.

I completely rebuilt a car in 18months and yes, no one really cares, probably because i haven't added some 4th hand ebay rims or polished the headlights.
