Chelsea looked poor, lack of command and generally unimpressive.

Agreed. Pretty poor performance. Backing Arsenal for the league this season, unless they do the usual and say fuck it and drop out of everything within a week.

What? You've taken what I've said completely the wrong way. I found it somewhat amusing that WHU did so well with fair play last season, but have fucked it within two games before this one has even properly kicked off.
I have an ever increasing soft spot for the Hammers, mostly due to my mates old man (and mate too actually), keeps giving West Ham dummies, bottles, teddies and clothes for my little man

good stuff, your littl'un clearly is a hammer

I think Julian Dicks must have told our players to go hard or go home. We'll find out tomorrow if/when a whu player kills Walcott.

Tbf it's the standard Sunderland cycle

Start season > play shit > sit in relegation places > beat Newcastle, everything's amazing > play shit again > sack manager > bring in new manager > survive > reward manager with new contract/spend big in summer > repeat

West Ham are going to get a good bumming tomorrow, I can't see anything other than Arsenal winning by 3 or 4 unfortunately.

At least the suspensions were Europe and won't affect the league team (I'm assuming)

I thought referees were clamping down on the 'red card and penalty' incidents? I think Courtois getting the red was a tad harsh, and the incident wasn't even 100 per cent in the box, albeit tight. Cahill was covering also, and, the ball was going in a different direction to the goal. I understand the referees have tough calls to make, it's just the damn inconsistency that is frustrating.

I have to agree that the level of consistency is shocking when it comes to the definition of a "goal scoring opportunity". So many keepers wipe players out and get booked instead.

See where i'm going with this?

Might aswell drop out the domestic cups whilst we're at it.

It makes no sense.

No.... First off, I don't have james Rutherford on Facebook, because that would be weird.

Secondly, who the fuck is James Rutherford?

Back in your feeble 1.0 bro.

Edit: Just Facebook searched him and it's JR Shock horror, I don't have him on Facebook. He probably copied me you bellend.

Giving a 16yr old his debut against an arsenal team that are going to tear them to shreds is an odd move

There's no other options though, the bench is just as bad, obviously for the rest of the season they've got Jenkinson, but not against Arsenal.

Good to see Reece Oxford getting a start, probably the most difficult team he could be facing.

Be good to see Payet playing. Although the front few will barely get a touch.

Nothing like throwing someone in at the deep end it could be an inspired move from Bilic.
