Didn't say you needed to.
You're asking how everybody is, and attempting to find out about them, so was doing the same.

Thought that was the natural response after somebody asks how you're

There is a difference in asking how people are generally and asking someone to explain why they arnt working
If you are asking how I am, then I'm fine generally

Fantastic. Usual conversation flows to work a lot of the time, so naturally I'd ask about work. Since you aren't currently working usually there would be a story as why. Whether that's disability, recently been sacked at uni etc etc.

Do you think you'll be contributing to the site in other ways?

I'd love to know how they're doing it Andrew, having paid in for a quarter of a century and having been crippled by my job, yet can't seem to crack the 73 quid a week mark.

Maybe I need to get a hook, a Quran, a tan, some head gear and some kids.

They were bred to protect livestock on the Russian mountains from bears and wolves, they would fight them to the death, they are still used as guardian and protection dogs now, they don't need an ounce of training either, but rocco doesn't dog well, he's to lazy to dog, he does keep a very watchful eye on the kids though, he doesn't like them out of sight when we are out

That was just 1 of the 8 cuts that I got to both hands, went through nerve and tendon and left permanent damage, learnt to live with it though, wasn't complaining about the damage though was just a pic to follow up the comment lol

He does have the look of a dog that would let no bastard fuck with you.

Probably advisable to stay in his good graces

What exactly happened? Were they your dogs?

You wouldn't want to see a picture of my knee btw. Frankly pretty disgusting.

That was the idea

He is soft as shit normally though, would love a stranger to walk round the back of the house though because the back door is always open and goes out into a dog pen, just want to see his reaction

Had just started working in a boarding kennels that rented kennels out to a dogue de bordeaux rescue, all the rescue dogs were in the boarding kennel area apart from 1 aggressive one, I'd been in with all the others that day cleaning them out, anyway while on my break they were re homing one and was out front in the customer carpark where everyone was fussing the dog so I walked over to them, the dog seemed to be enjoying himself so I put my hand out to stroke him and he lunged and grabbed my hand, I managed to pull my hand free after about 20 seconds and he lunged and grabbed my other hand and I couldn't get it free, so one of the kennel workers pulled me backwards, hence the long tear in my hand.
Didn't find out till later that this was the aggressive dog that people wasn't ment to go near and it shouldn't have been out of its kennel without a muzzle.
They also still rehomed it that day and was fetched back within 3 hours after pinning the new owner up in the kitchen.

3 days in hospital, 2 hours in surgery and almost 3 years of hell since

Great

Sounds like they really had their shit worked out at that place.

I take it the dog has subsequently been destroyed?

This kind of thing is one of the reasons I don't tend to stroke or approach a dog that isn't mine.

Docile doesn't count for much when you're dealing with something that is essentially descended from lupine stock.

Sadly he was destroyed yes, I don't blame the dog though, it was all down to the previous owner, he was only 18 months old and had spent his life tied up in the garden and being beat every day, the rescue are trying to put all the blame on the new owners saying they had the lead and had signed the paperwork even though they were still at the kennels

All well and good saying don't blame the dog etc etc.

I can understand him biting the fucker that beat him, but biting someone showing him affection requires a swift kick or ten in the bollocks.

Yeah he was a very aggressive dog towards people, but he wasn't born like that, he was made that way, if he found me a threat and thought I was going to hit him then of course he is going to lash out, just like you would if you thought someone was going to hit you.

Iv had my own dogs bite me before, always been totally my fault and the dog has been totally blameless, the same day they were snuggled up with my own kids while I were licking my wounds lol

I've never been bitten by any dog.

If a dog bit me, he or she would not be getting the benefit of the doubt Chloe.

Re the one that was put down, the dog was presumably quite a threat and beyond redemption. Short of housing it in a specialist centre for violent dogs for the rest of it's natural life, would or could there have been any other conclusion?

Surely the risk of it maiming or killing a human child would have been on the high side?
