Got a package returned to me today with the reason 'not called for'.

Not sure what that means. The guy has been in touch asking where it was and I had to send another one, did assume this one was lost but its turned up.

Not sure why the original delivery failed.

Also written on is

N/A
D/L
and the date it would have been attempted.

I know the little slip says you have 30ish days to go and pick it up before it gets returned to sender. Did he get the red slip?

Will have been sat in a sorting office somewhere for 18 days waiting for the owner and the little red card to show. After a while they say they return to sender.

What Phil said.

He should of had a card a month ago, should of gone to collect. He hasn't collected it, so it's been returned to sender

If it's been at the callers office, which I'm assuming itches been then a card would of been posted somewhere, so either it was posted to the wrong address, or for some reason he didn't get it or find it

PayPal are rapid this evening!

I bought some paint off eBay. I'm a busy man and kept forgetting to collect from Royal Mail. Eventually I asked the mrs to collect but had been sent back to sender. Seller could not be arsed to answer my messages so I put to dispute and straight away I have a full refund.

Technically it was my fault for not collecting but he was a bellend not responding to a couple of messages.

Hence why using PayPal and eBay is a ballache for sellers.

You can get it redlivered to neighbours, to the local post office, to your house and leave a note. Not difficult really.

LOL are you joking, so that seller gets a defect on his account and loses the money and the parts because you can't be arsed to go get it?

What a fucking nobhead move.

I gave him two chances Ian to respond. I even offered to pay the second postage fee.

Item was returned to sender, he's only out of pocket for the postage.

Through no fault of his own.

You do know he can't arrange the second delivery? That too is your responsibility.

We can disagree all night. If you sell on eBay this is what happens.

I pay 40% tax but there is fuck all I can do about that either.

so because you pay 40% tax you deem it fair to fuck other people over.

I'll start doing that from now on then - that'll show the government for taxing me so high
