Just wondering if anyone has been to Florida before and has any cool suggestions of things to do?

We're going to Formula Drift and then onto all the usual parks, shopping outlets and going on one of those swamp tours on the boat with the big F off fan on the back.

Any thing else you would recommend looking into?

Cheers.

I've done -

Disney World
Hoverboat swamp ride
MGM Studios
Space Station
Florida Keys - Wouldn't recommend it unless you want to go diving.

Steakhouses

We've been twice, first hotel, then a villa. Villa was awesome.

Bush gardens is a must.

Kennedy space centre is cool if you like that type of stuff. I didn't go, but my cousins did and said it was a good day out.

You have most of the stuff covered, I really enjoyed Universal Studios park. Swamp boats are good too. Try and get to a BBQ place what does ribs, pork, etc.

Also you can't do shooting any more, the law changed a few years ago and anyone there on a green card isn't allowed on the ranges.

Universal parks are good.

Wouldnt bother with Disney unless you have kids as I personally thought it was pretty dire. (Water parks were ok)

I've just got back from Orlando. Stayed in a villa there that my parents own. We did:
Kennedy space centre
Coco beach and Clearwater beach
Universal 3 park ticket (Universal studios, islands of adventure, & wet and wild
Gatorland
Wild Florida (really recommend wild florida, for $25 we did an air boat tour out on the lakes with Gators and stuff. It's actually much better than gatorland)

There's plenty of steak house's, one we went to on US192 just by the remada hotel called Black Angus Steakhouse, was really good. For a good bar/restaurant/sports place/ales; BJ's brewhouse on International drive. We went there twice for food, and drinks.

Pretty sure I went to a black Angus near old town and it was dreadful. Slow service cold food and the waitress stole my change

100% agree with this - we went last year, having been a few times now and wished we had traveled elsewhere not missed Florida

We did do 4 nights in Miami though which was great fun and travelled down to Key west etc
