As some may have seen I used to have a 97 Flame Red 1.2 8v Corsa LS but I now have bought 2000 Arden Blue 1.2 16v Club which is in really good condition. I picked it up for £350 which I thought was a bargain. A few photos from the ebay advert.

A few bits I have to fit are:
De-badged Grille
Astra CDX Alloys
De-locked Passenger Handle
Powerflex Bushed Tie Bars

Other plans are just a general clean up

Ahh it's hard to outline the brand from the pedals but they do look nice

Is there a fair bit of difference to the suspension by getting new bushes?

I fitted the bushes to my last corsa but never actually seen the road so I couldn't say. I wouldn't think it would make that big a difference unless you changed all of them.

Oh fair enough, changing them all to Powerflex ones would be a big chunk of money considering what they are!

I have fitted my Astra CDX alloys will get picture tomorrow when the weathers a bit better, going to take them back off eventually and paint them white and fit lower profile tyres.

A few more jobs I have found that need doing is to look at why the radio keeps losing signal, I think its either the aerial itself or the radio isn't wired up correctly. Also the exhaust is rattling on the rear axle when i go over pot holes or speed bumps so I'm just going to fit some rubber around the rear axle as a temporary fix.

Got my 2.0L brakes fitted just need to bleed them again later on as I think the master cylinder is leaking slightly. Suppose it gives me a reason to upgrade it. Any got any ideas of a better one to replace it with ?

Lowered the front on FK Coilovers, going to fit the rear springs at the weekend.

Want some lower profile tyres so I can go lower as the ones I have catch on the archs, also got my clear side repeaters and polybushed tie bars fitted just waiting on an anti roll bar bracket so I can get my corsa sport arb fitted

A bit of a boring update but haven't really touched the car for a few weeks now.
Anyway the exhaust was knocking on the rear axle so i bought some powerflex rubber mounts and it seams to of stopped the problem.

Also whilst fitting the mounts seen a bit of corrosion under the boot floor so i stripped all the carpet out of the boot and found this

Decided to tackle the job myself as a kind of learning curve as it would be my first time welding, so i cut the rust out. Found out using a grinder is harder than it looks.

This is the finished job after seam sealing, rust proofing and currently in primer.
