Are you looking into some 15mm eibach wheel spacers for it? Or H&R?

Can see on this pic of my car after it had its detail with goats beard mittens today. Sit quite far inwards. Don't notice it when you look from the side though.

There is loads on the Internet. I read 5mm front and 15mm rear is the best for mine. It's not cheap though. £150 or something.

Yeah, went out and it wasn't there. But I had a clue what had happened, the wifes heap of shit was sat on the drive and you won't believe it, but the fuel light was on. Guess she want it filled up.

Well i just got back from the test drive.

Drives quite nicely, although very similar to most cars these days, A3, Golf etc, i know they are the same platform so to be expected.

Decided against that particular one, not sure i could live with the white and i could see a bit of a dodgy repair/paint on the front bumper. So then sat in a golf 63 plate and actually preferred that. I felt a bit cramped in the scirocco, the arm rest got in the way as well. It just didn't feel special enough to be a coupe, more of an everyday hatchback with coupe styling, so scirocco is off my list.

Going to test drive the Golf next week, am also thinking i will have a look at the toyota GT86/Subaru BRZ, starting to consider a polo gti, but feel it might be a bit small.

My brother has a Scirocco. 2.0 turbo thing with the flappy paddle gearbox. Nice car, but no good for back seat passenger adults.

He hit a deer recently and broke the plastic front bumper insert. £1200 for a new bit from VW. Yeah ok

Degreased and re-lubed the bonnet catch as it was sticky and screwed in the battery cover in the boot as the latch was broken and I'm not spending £20 on a new piece of trim when a couple of screws will do.

I would have used a live mouse tied to some string. Send it in, let it eat the chip and then pull it out with the string. Maybe next time.

No it's a 1.6 Octavia estate.
