Good bit of prep/planning there Jim.

What drugs did you take?

I hear speed-balls are great, if a bit risky.

Fitted a vinyl floor into my van. It looks good I think. Can be seen in my project thread.

On way to a day by the beach, Mrs Corsa c broke down.
Luckily not far from home, so had to get a bus home and get the tools. One seized caliper, seized out so break constantly jammed on.
Luckily I upgraded my Corsa c brakes day before so had some spares. Didn't make the beach ;(

will you be keeping the rear lights looking like that? i think ive seen a set that were smoked on the top and red on the bottom before. thought they made it look a bit more modern. kinda like what my t4 transporter 2.5 tdi has on the back.

I just touched the paintwork (an area of about 2 inches by about 3 or 4mm) on the left rear quarter, just below the light cluster Ben.

Should improve with some elbow grease and the right products I hope.

I also bought some genuine Merc touch up paint and matched aerosols a while back at great expense, so that should help if need be.

The really annoying thing is the textured, unpainted 'scuff' panel on the rear bumper. That took the brunt of it and now looks like shit. Bloody great great big pale rough patch about three by six inches, all properly brick-rashed now.

I wouldn't mind, but i'd already parked the car there without incident and had moved it for someone.

I was rushing to get it back in the same spot only closer to the brickwork so it wouldn't be in anyone's way and I misjudged the blind section of the wall that juts out slightly and 'donk'

The noise it made as I drove it back off the wall again was sickening.

Was fully expecting a caved quarter panel etc. Remarkable how lightly I got off.

Fucking hate doing body damage though.
