Started a while ago, Islamic extremists flying the black flag holding up to a dozen hostages. Also opera house evacuated after suspicious package found there.

Not good, hopefully outcome isn't serious and they shoot the fuckers with the guns.

Just can't see how this one will end, can't imagine a peaceful solution, hopefully snipers will get a clean shot and dust the islamist cunts.

They're probably not. Only needs someone living there who wants to do it.

The media aren't helping. Ooooh there's a black flag striking fear in to the hearts of Sydneysiders. No, there's one nutter who's going to get shot in a bit.

Has no one translated the flag? Surely they have arabic translators in the news room....

Might just say coffee and free hug apply within??

On a serious note, nobody will be sniping him as he has made bomb threats and looks to be wearing a backpack and or vest, which is probably connected to a trigger and would blow if he was shot.

Had to turn the news off.

"We're going over now to someone to talk about the feelings and emotions that the people inside must be feeling".

Whatever mate.

At a guess, I would think they are wondering wh ya nutcase with a bomb is holding them hostage and at a long shot I am guessing they are scared for their lives?

Most worrying thing is the rediculous media coverage

All you need is an old shot gun and a flag to be the centre of attention of pritty much every news agency on earth.

Recon we will get an influx of these bodge job 'terrorist' situations now ?

Seems like the storming was planned, but the hostages escaping wasn't.

It was rather exciting anyway. I just hope there's only been 1 fatality, the Muslim.

I can't see that happening though as there was a ridiculous amount of gunfine.
