I've previously used JAlbum to create online galleries of all our snowboarding trips. Unfortunately they have now gone the licensing model

I'm looking for something I can point at a set of folders, each with a trips worth of photos and it will create a gallery with resided pictures for each and a main index

Got around 10g of photos to process

Any ideas?

Should state that Mac is my primary platform

I know very little about this, but isn't this what Flickr and Photobucket is for?

Yes and no. Flick is more of a social photo site. I already use flick and photo bucket but they don't really suit this use case

I'm looking to build a stand alone site with just these select photos

Have you looked at Picasa?

At the moment I use Picasso for my photo management. If only you could export a web album

You can. That's pretty much what it was made for.

Just turn on online sync for a specific album/folder.

But that just adds it to Google+ now if you do online sync. (IMO its much worse since its been merged into Google+)

I already use that feature for other photos my have so these would just get mixed up with those.

Or if you want to build and host your own there are a few php scripts out there that do this, you just upload all your pictures in to folders.
