Figured this would be the best place to ask.

My colleagues 2010 1.6 Astra has a problem where by the radiator fan comes on full whack from cold start.

Any ideas ? guessing its a temperature sensor fault.

Thermostats are a common problem on these, they have a temp sensor built into thr housing. Get it plugged in and see what the diagnostic says.

Doesn't need to be a dealer, just a garage with some relatively up to date scanner. I'd be 90% sure it'll be the stat housing though.
