How old is he ? Anything less than ~10 weeks he's gonna be sleeping wherever he feels safe 22 hours a day. Give him a month to get used to surroundings and settled in and he'll liven up. Probably be a right little twat in a 3 or 4 months time so enjoy the easy bit now tbh

One of our dogs is a Fox Terrier we rescued from a pikey site when she was 5 weeks old. She's about 14 months now and fucking mental now, doesn't stop running round all day, but same as your guy when she was a pup though, just slept all day in a bed in the corner of the room.

Makes me feel a bit better, got him a cage yesterday for when we go out, but it was tiny, bought him / took it back and swapped for a collie sized one so he can have his house in it

Dogs ruin your life and take up all your time btw.

Cage will stop it completely destroying your house though, I made that mistake.

Other than that they are fun.
