some of my recent work.. I know some of you dont particular like my methods of post production but none the less have a look, crit welcome... the 'Strobe London' branding is for a new company I am currently making with a fellow photographer. We have just struck a deal for funding for a new london based studio too which will be exciting, so hopefully some more work soon too. Some of the images are quite lo res as im linking from facebook

There's no doubting you're good with a camera, I just think you overdo it with the post processing. You make things far too smooth.

I understand in the fashion industry that's what people ask for, I just think it looks daft when it's so blatant.

I get what you mean, but they all still have their original detail and texture just no blemishes... so its not actually really smooth atall the tones are just more equal. I dont blur skin, I dodge and burn. Texture is always still there...

if for example you look at say the top brands on here (fashion gone rogue - a reputable fashion website).... what/how are they any different. I agree its nice to have more natural shots but at the moment I'd get more work or notice going for the high end market...

Can't put a finger on anything.

Don't agree with the style, but completely get your reasoning. Execution is spot on.

I see you revisited nr. 9 and added a bit more detail around the elbow and tricep which suits it.

Some decent pictures here, I like the dark ones at the top, they're the type of style I try and find for a reference when I'm doing a portrait painting.

I need to up my photography game!
