Will be keeping an eye on tis as i have a soft spot for MKII Cavs...only seen half of the project as wasn't too sure where it started from. Looks alright from what you've done (apart from the dash) but each to their own. Don't sell this one until it's completed please.

Aah right fair enough. I've got my eye on one at the moment, wont go in to, too much detail but the odometer isn't clocking up how big a job is that, as it's also got digi dash (which i dislike) so would it be easier to swap to normal dash?

Would need to re wire it all to swap back - i think i have a load of spare bits left including an odo - could be faulty but likewise it may be a board. You should get one though theyre cool

Fog light wrecked my head too, especially as it was mint untill the apprentice in the body shop tripped over it and smashed all the back and glue it together and zip tied it back on lol, headlamp alignment is coz it needs the White clips that go underneath there missing from that side probably notice it's a bit loose, also I'm sure it was only the speedo that didn't work on the dash everything else did, went through 3 transducers in the time I had it, pissed me off in the end.

Superglued fog lights, scaffolding exhaust, unknown mileage, no seat belts. This thing is starting to sound like a bit of a shed.

Its certainly not a shed... Has a wonky fog, a single seatbelt rewind mech is broken, its on about 104k (i have the clocks)...

scaffy exhaust and cut springs are shite like.

Tom took a punt on some for a 82-88 5 door ascona hatch from heko
