Good evening Gents,

I have another DIY question!

When they built our house they felt it suitable to only fit 1 shower (ensuite master bedroom) in a 4 bed house

the main bathroom upstairs looks like this:

What would I need to do to turn this into a shower?

I will obviously need to fit a shower screen but I have no idea about the shower side of it

Take bracket off, move it up, clip shower head into it.

Job done.

The builders have done the same things in our house. 4 bedroom house with only one shower in the ensuite. Our ensuite is huge too and I'd happily half the size of it to make a massive family bathroom.

Its a mixer so you can just get a longer shower pipe and sit the head higher on a rail.
I would be tempted to take pipework up higher and fit a knob adjustment shower.

I've got 3 proper showers, 2 doubles

That also looks even worse than the shit wimpey fit.

If you can source a couple of those tiles, move it higher and fit a normal shower.

Buy a shower screen and move the head fitting higher.

Yeah cheapest way would be to get a long hose and new shower head/rail kit for normal height!

Then glass shower screen on the bath.
