doesn't matter really just sell it privately at the end

Mileage only an issue if trading with the dealer or handing it back

Either way for a 296BHP hatchback its good value

6 Months of that and i could have carbon fibre wings and bonnet.

10 Months would pay for a new engine and gearbox

a whole year of payments and you could have a complete car.

Crazy that you could buy and rebuild an old car for the same money and it would be worth money.

My boss collected his golf r yesterday from the dealership his is a 5 door in black looks really understated wouldn't have a clue how quick it is, took me for a spin and the acceleration is brutal for what it is, interiour and everything is really nice still I wouldn't fork out 40grand for one but it's pocket change for some people he bought it to commute to London in because his other cars are too thirsty :/ as you do

Although I agree with lolling at 40k for a golf, how is that less valid than £XXk for a rusty old vw van?

In 1-2 years the golf will be worth what 50% of it's value? My van will appreciate in value. So lol away, I'm making money.

If no one bought a £35k golf they wouldn't of made a £40k golf.

We should thank these people really. In years to come we can buy them cheap and also drives the cost of older models down.

I've had one for a while. Not brutally quick IMO but very capable.

90% of all Golf R's will be funded via Pcp or similar.

saw 3 of these on the M6 from scotland yesterday and apart from the stupid 4 exhausts it looked just like a GTD

No doubt very capable but just don't stand out enough in the right way
