It is Yh but going to be cut in half to build a new inlet

Also been having trouble with the car reving so changed the intake pipe and airflow sensor. And done sum wire management.

Got a busy day tomorrow front end rebuild. Wishbones, ball joints, track robs with ends arb bushes tie bar bushes hand brakes cable

Well been a busy day replacing all the parts. Movement in the old ball joint at track rod was shocking. Turns straight in to corners now with not much roll.

Just a Lil update. As you can see from parts off this i was having sum engine problems which were sorted out but never really sound rite after that. Desided to remove the engine back out to check the bottom end out full

With the bottom end out we stripped the block apart to see what was going on... Big end bearing had gone again!!! And had all so marked the crank up


Pictures don't show it that much but the grooves are pretty deep.
The fella at the garage said the reason the big ends where going is the oil pump was shot after the lad put the big ends in the wrong way round. Didn't get a photo of the oil pump.

Luckily I still had the original block in the shed so just used that for now the keep the car running.

Now the car was back on the road I spotted a rear arb on ebay.

Bran new just didn't come with the fitting kit for just 40 notes!!!

As I only live a couple mile from floflex I thought I go see if they can sort a kit ot for it

£6 later iv got it sorted

Well as iv now used my spare bottom end I needed to find a different engine to start a rebuild on. Come across a unfinished project which a tuck a gamble on.

Head was sent off to have new valve glides and stem seals and skimmed.

Valve seats where recut and lapped all so.

Well there was all being do got the bottom end build up

All this engine work was carried out by the previous owner. The reason this count my eye was all the extras that were with it.
Exhaust manifold

Inlet with opd powerbox

Flat flywheel with black diamond clutch



Recom f15 gearbox

So picked all this up last Sunday.

And now back together in the garage

Also removed any wiring and sensor's as well all be replaced with new
