Hi people, i have always wandered whether its possible to set passwords on certain folders using my XP????

How do i enter a password on some folders then Cavey???? Its not for porn but for some confidential work!!!!!! To hide from ma friends who try to copy ma work

right click on it then security, and set something on there

yeh i know stefan very well.hes in redline issue 64 by the way mate.....his new project...a red clio!! its out on da 14th of may!

It's not specifically a password, but if the disk is formatted as NTFS (you can see this in 'properties' of the drive) then you can set permissions on the folder (in 'properties' of the folder) so that only your username can access it... so if you're not logged in, no one can touch it...
