£5k for an exhaust blimey! Although they are very powerful to start so can see why TBF.

Out of interest why an M5 and not an M3 or some thing similar? (Serious question)

I work in the motor trade and I own my own company!

The reason for the M5 was once driven side by side the M3 doesn't compare! I did look at 1 M coupes but the pure all round features of the M5 won me over!

I'll upload some inside shot on the weekend, when I get him back out!

What you got planned for it? Assuming hour going down the tuning route, like it's not quick enough

Haven't seen many M5's about compared to the M3's ect so least it's a bit more exclusive to, very nice car though

No major plans at present.... Maybe some carbon and wheels! But it's a great car out the box with the exhaust! Plates going on this week...

They are a lot more exclusive than previous e60/e39

Haha Ben no drugs sold here all hardworking and honest money! Broke Monty and I have recently sold the Astra VXR... Toying with selling the Corsa VXR-R too but unsure at present I didnt use them all and seemed a waste so I looked and thought I could have 1 nice car rather than several average cars!

Epic cars, look forward to seeing what you do with this!

Have you actually bought this though or is it on one of the BMW staff company car schemes where you lease it for 9 months before you either hand it back or get the option to buy it?!

It's done on a deal rich but not the 9 months! It's counted as my car where they are owned by BMW's! But I did get staff discount!!

The scheme your on about you don't get to spec them and as stated 9 months and 3k miles, also no M powers are on this and it's only for direct BMW employees only which they include insurance

Was behind an identical one coming out the gym yesterday, the sound is incredible and the guy was just tootling along leisurely. It sounded like it was chewing up the tarmac and spitting it out as it went along.

I actually prefer the older shape to this one but they are absolute beasts.

I don't actually like the look of these cars but appreciate they're fucking awesome. Almost into six figures aren't they?

Enjoy

You can get them high priced... Competition pack is 7-8k option, LED lights are 3k... See how it adds up!

These are awsome cars and actually ok on fuel.

I went on a long trip in my mates m6 (same engine) last week and got about 23mpg and we were certainly not hanging around

The stereotypical owner of these is a shame. I'm more of a Merc AMG guy, but these things do sound absolutely insane when modified. There's always a few of these floating around in certain parts of London and a couple in particular sound ridiculous so much back popping!

Think some had the Akrapovic exhaust system.

As much as I'm a fan of AMG Mercs, I would say the owners have a far worse reputation than that of M5 owners.

Especially the amount of C63's that get raced around.

I just see shit loads of Indians driving the M5's, that's all don't see as many C63 AMG's as much as I used to. Although I guess the Indians like their Merc's as well

Tbh most of the C63's I've seen are being driven by youngish Asian lads, especially in London
