That is a ballbuster for them; a 38 year old keeper that thinks he is Messi and a makeshift defence of youth players and guys that are actually midfielders.

Ouch. Time for players like Bartra to step up a level.

fkn loads of bollocks

barca will appeal and drag it into summer, spend big and then agree to a one window ban in the winter window, farcical.

Nantes also got a 1 window ban for iducing a breach of cotnract from some dude from a UAE club

Just had a thought - Valdes to postpone leaving and Puyol to postpone retirement?

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Valdes is out of contract soon anyway not to mention seriously injured, be surprised but would think they'd want to keep Puyol just in case

Out until November so who would sign him this Summer?

It's all hypothetical anyway as it'll be over-turned upon appeal but I reckon they'd rather sign him up for another year knowing they'll get 7 months or so out of him.

Barca had already said they would offer Valdes a new contract if he failed to find a new club, even with the injury.

Apparently they've signed the BMG keeper on a pre-contract which would of gone through 1st June (I'd imagine) so unsure if that's allowed still.

ter Stegen has said he'll be leaving this summer, regardless of what's happening at Barcelona. Would be very surprised if there aren't clubs waiting in the wings, as he is fantastic, despite being very young.
