I like matte cars.

But I like shiny ones too Great colour. Keeps getting better.

Is there a procedure to wash it?

With plasti-dip you can just use a jetwash, don't need soap for most light washing. Presume this is similar? Or do you have to wax it or something?

Fancy wrapping a centre console for the Astra as standard finish has perished. This is quite tempting.

Well to anyone wondering how the car holds up to having a blow out without runflats... It does pretty good!
I was expecting the wheel to have sat into the Tarmac but the tyre kept it up off the road. Also had to limp it about 1mile before I could stop.
Went with an almighty bang!
Had no prior warning of issues nor did I hit anything to cause it, I was simply going round a bend on a narrow country lane when it let go. Luckily happened a few minutes before I would have joined the m65





Had to get someone to bring me my jack and my trusty bricks out so I could get it up in the air and then get my dad to bring me one of my spare wheels out (he brought me the one with a flat tyre) helpful



Not quite how I planned to look for the Unphased June meet but heyho. Bloody deserved that pint!

Nah I don't want it looking like a fake ///m
Plus I don't like the proportions of the front bumper, the bit between the kidney grilles and lower grill is too small on the M.

I'm thinking about getting a splitter made up like what Lee had on his s2k

Fake M it actually serves a purpose as it has brake ducts.

Welcome to the blowout club. I can confirm it's rather scary when it happens at 70mph one of the scariest experiences of my life.

My work commute involves 10 miles of a straight 3 lane A road. Theres not much to worry about in terms of braking

Ha. I was surprised also. Think I might get them powdercoat in purple or something as they're my winter wheels.
I was going to go for a chrome powdercoat on them originally.

Chrome powdercoat looks awesome on 107's mate. Seen it done somewhere and the chrome shows off the shape of the spokes nicely.
