Hopefully its close enough to warrant a thread! Who is going?? What in? Stickering up? Where are you camping? Which crossings?


There's a group of 12 of us going. A couple of the guys I went with in 2010.

3 cars going. Hyundai i800/Octavia vRS and one other TBC.

We are posh camping with Travel Destinations in their "Event Tents" at Porsche Curves. Also got grandstand seats too.

Outbound - 10.20am Tunnel on Thursday 12th
Inbound - 4.20pm tunnel on Monday 16th

I watched a documentary/film on Netflix about the 2011 Le Mans yesterday afternoon. Absolutely loved it, think I need to make the trip sometime in the next couple of years.

Until you've been you don't quite understand how awesome it is, and the atmosphere etc.


Hopefully this year we are going to do a sneaky trip out and through the woods to get by the Mulsanne Armco.

Going to have to have a mooch round and try and find you guys.

The only other time I went (with VXRonline) we were on Houx Annexe.

I can't wait. After 2010 I was hooked, and decided I was going to go every year. Didn't happen.

I remember being sat in my Mansell Beechdean racing t-shirt watching the start, then he binned it after lap 4 or something.

First round of the WEC on Sunday. 6 hours of Silverstone.

Several of the Le Mans teams competing obv including Audi, Toyota and Porker.

It's on Motors TV from 11.30am.
