I'm concerned you're serious.

I'm not

But the more I see that stunning line up, the more I realise I'd rather see them go out having played their hearts out (but failing miserably) than seeing the so called big names go out there, fuck about in the sun and still fail miserably.

Joel Ward isn't far off, but won't go. He has the most successful tackles in all of Europes top leagues this season. He's a monster!

I would like to see Huddlestone getting a call up, but its unlikely. He's actually a very very good footballer. Extraordinary technique.

I've always liked Huddlestone (to much derision) But I agree, don't think he will get a call up. He's got the reputation of being too slow for top football, don't need to be fast if you've got the brain.

Exactly. He's one of a rare breed of deep lying players who spray the passes about. Like Xabi Alonso or Pirlo, but not quite to that level He could be a huge asset with the right players in front of him.

Huddlestone has always been a few attributes away from being top drawer IMO. He could hit a 5 pence piece from 50 yards away.

Its his technique that fascinates me. He hits a ball in such a spectacular way. Even his weak foot!

Too late for Wickham to force his way into squad? Looks like he's going to keep Sunderland in the Premier League by himself

Walker out. Got to be a reasonable shout for Ward now!!

Who would you not take instead of Wickham though? We've got too many in his position playing too well this year.

Further proof that stats mean nothing. The inclusion of Mark Noble is enough to void the list, and I'm a west ham fan
